ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry has hinted at opening Swiss accounts cases against former President Asif Ali Zardari.  He said that Asif Ali Zardari and other leaders of PPP were acquitted due to non-availability of records of Swiss accounts.  The whole record of Swiss accounts has been found.  Action will be taken against former NAB chairman Qamar-ul-Zaman for hiding records.

He said in a media briefing after the cabinet meeting that the cabinet has ordered criminal action against five people involved in the Broadsheet Commission report, including Ahmed Bilal Sufi, Hassan Saqib Sheikh in the FBR, former Secretary Law Ministry Ghulami Rasool, former British Deputy High Commissioner Abdul Basit, Shahid Ali Baig, Tariq Fawad Malik had contracted Broadsheet, action will be taken against them.

The Broadsheet Commission has declared these five people as the main culprits. The Broadsheet Commission raised another point that the NAB was in the darkest situation between 2011 and 2017.  Qamar-ul-Zaman was the chairman of NAB. Due to his criminal negligence, Swiss documents disappeared. People did not know the documents. Now his criminal negligence will be determined.
